At least it's got soul. This started its life as a cheap Strat copy with grand intentions of hot-rodding it. As one can tell from the photos, more than a thing or two went sideways.
The good: -Upgraded Wilkinson pickups, CTS pots, Orange Drop cap -- all working -Upgraded bridge -Upgraded vintage tuners
The bad: -The bridge is not securely mounted and one of the cheap pot-metal mounting screw heads is stripped -Fitting the upgraded pots in the cavity required more space. One frustrated amateur workaround later, there is a hole in the back of the guitar (I super-glued the body chip back on) -The upgraded tuners required different mounting holes -- they are not uniformly or securely mounted
