The Micro Seiki DD-100, released in Japan in 1976 during the Japanese "Golden Era" of high-fidelity audio equipment, is a wonderful vintage turntable from a highly-regarded Japanese producer. Micro Seiki has acquired a great reputation over the years for its high-quality turntables, and this DD-100 is no exception. This is one of their really high-end models. The DD-100 operates with a direct-drive system, with a PLL quartz DC servo motor. It has an oversized 40-cm platter clocking in at 5.2 kg. The cabinet has a triple layer structure with particle board and lead plating, with a final finish of Brazilian rosewood. It is a highly precise unit, with a solid build quality, featuring wow and flutter of <0.02% (WRMS) and an SNR of >63 dB (JIS). The DD-100 is a superb turntable with exceptional mechanical engineering, a handsome design, and incredible sound. This one includes the original power supply unit. You’ll love it!

This unit is in very good condition overall (please see pictures), with some signs of age and use, including some minor scratches, scuffs, and some coloration on the metal parts. The unit has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. The platter rotation is like clockwork, as expected from Japanese products of this era, which were built for a lifetime of operation.
