This is a vintage 1964 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar in VG (7/10) condition. It has the usual play wear and dings and scratches with light finish cracking that comes with a 58 year old guitar. This is a "player's" guitar and has not been stored to be sold as mint. It has a very nice overall appearance with the aged patina and yellowed binding and comes with a non-original period chipboard case. The guitar has a professionally repaired impact crack at the lower back (not very noticeable in the photos) and no other cracks or repairs. I believe the bridge is a replacement - not sure. This LG-1 is solid! The neck is straight with light wear in the cowboy fret position. The action is very good at a little under 1/8" at the 12th fret low E and 3/32" at the high E. The previous owner had an under-bridge pickup with 1/4" jack pin installed. The guitar plays and sounds great especially when you plug it into a vintage tube amp ('61 Fender Deluxe brownface). These Gibson LG-1s are only going to go up in price as they have been so this is a no-loss proposition. Hate to let it go but I recently purchased a 2015 Gibson L-OO Red Spruce Custom Shop acoustic and this is my "go to" now. Can't keep both.
