1967 Martin 00-28C Classical Guitar

Please search "Antebellum 1967 Martin 00-28C" in Google to browse an in-depth blog post about the details of this guitar. Suffice to say, it's crack-free, all-original, sounds amazing, and looks amazing, too. It comes with its original hard, arched case and even the original hang tags!

What else? 00-size with Brazilian rosewood back/sides, the more desirable 25.4" scale length and 2" nut width (vs the later wider nut and longer 26.5" scale), and fantastic condition. There are a few scratches, some smallish humidity/heat/case blem on the back and a bit of weatherchecking but otherwise this guitar is just in superb shape.

My only work was to lightly set it up and restring it. That's all it needed! Action is about 3/32" treble and a hair above that bass at the 12th fret, which is my standard classical setup. If you want slightly lower (and thus slightly buzzier when played hard) "Flamenco" or "folk" feel, let me know. Easy-peasy.

There's nothing to worry about on this guitar and it's drop-dead gorgeous to boot. They don't come in like this very often. Remember, though: this is only built for nylon/gut strings... though if you're after a vintage 'folk' feel, also keep in mind that there are several makers that have interesting hybrid string sets that give a steelier or edgier sound for nylon-strung guitars.
