Paul Berger D 28 D 41 Inspired Brazillian Rosewood Guitar Natural

I WILL NOT SHIP THIS GUITAR OUTSIDE OF THE 48 STATES ...SORRY  !!! This is an amazing sounding guitar built by one of Martin's top luthiers after he left the Martin Company and moved to Apopka Florida. We have two guitars that Paul built for sell and this one is as good a dreadnought as I have ever heard ! Amazing inlay work Brazillian Rosewood and adirondack spruce ....he had Martins blessing as long as he did not put their logo on them which he never did. According to Wikipedia he built a total of around 210 guitars before he passed. These are the stuff of legends around bluegrassers in the south !! This one and the other one we have for sale have been appraised by Gruhn guitars . I had heard of these guitars but had never seen one till these walked into the shop ...amazing guitars ...one of Atlanta's best local players said it maybe the best flattop he has ever played ! Comes with a sturdy hardshell case !

Originally made in S Green Street, Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

Later instruments were made in Berger’s Guitar Repair Shop W. Fourth St Apopka, Florida.

Paul “is considered one of Martin Guitars best luthiers during his time there from 1960 to 1972. He ran the Martin repair shop and restored most of the pre-war collection in Martin’s museum. Martin reportedly gave Paul his blessing to build his own custom dreads to Martin specs, especially pre-war era style) as long as he didn’t use the Martin logo.
