Vintage 1960's Kent Ukulele w/ Original Gig Bag! I Played the Eldorado Room, Japan!

Up for sale is this vintage 1960's Kent ukulele. This was a promotional piece for the Eldorado Room, obviously, but we aren't exactly sure where that was. What we do know, though, is that this little uke is about as cool as it gets.

Cosmetically, it is in nice condition for its age, but does show some typical light wear. The worst of this wear is around the edges where some finish has scraped away. The worst of this is pictured. A few of the dot "inlays" are missing exposing the screws underneath. This is purely cosmetic and is easily fixed but, since it's original, we left it alone.

The instrument plays well with comfortable low action. Believe it or not, it's actually a joy to play, even if it doesn't have a ton of volume.

The original Kent Japan gig bag is included and is every bit as cool as the instrument itself. The bag is in nice condition for its age, but does show light wear. It appears to have shrunken a bit with age, so it's a tight fit and the headstock points have poked small holes in the end of the bag (pictured).

We generally don't take in folk instruments or import stuff these days, but this one was just way, way too cool to pass up. It's been hanging around the shop for a while now just so that we could stare at it, but now it's time for it to find a loving home. Don't miss out on this one!
