I don't know much about this instrument. I'm selling it for a friend. As far as I can tell, it's a late 50's Kay tenor (4 string) banjo, but I 'm not sure because I can't find a serial number. For this age, I'd say it's in very good shape. Being vintage, it's probably worth more than he's asking. I've tried to show all the wear in the photos.
Weather you want to play it or use it as a decoration, it's a nice piece.
It sounds good and comes with what looks like the original case, also in good shape. It has been carefully packed and detuned for shipping.
