Vintage 1975 Systech Phase Shifter:
This is a unique eight stage phase shifter providing four notches in the audio spectrum.  This results in a very rich wide phase effect.  Most vintage phasers have four or six stages providing two or three notches.

This phaser has been fully services with new electrolytic capacitors and trim pots.  We have also replaced a resistor in the LFO circuit with a trim pot to provide calibration of the LFO Speed.  We have set it to the factory spec of 0.067Hz to 10Hz.  That is 15 sec for one cycle at the min setting for some super slow evolving sweeps.

Another great feature of this pedal in the input impedance of 1M Ohm.  This insures that there will be no "Tone Sucking" if you plug a guitar directly into it.  This pedal works equally as well with synthesizers.  The sound is warm and the modulation is very smooth.
Some Systech history for those who don't know:

SysTech (Systems & Technology in Music, Inc.) from Kalamazoo, Michigan, was a collaboration between Greg Hockman (Keith Emerson's Moog tech, later the North American sales director for Soundcraft) and Charlie Wicks (later the founder and CEO of Pro-Co).

Together with Bryce Roberson (a.k.a. Uncle Dirty, ex-lead engineer at Chess Records), they formed the Sound Factory in Kalamazoo in the early 70's. The company (consisting of Charlie's Sound Factory, Greg's SysTech and Bryce's Uncle Dirtys recording studio) occupied an old factory site on Kalamazoo Avenue.

Greg was a former employee of Moog.  See here for more information about Greg's connection with Moog:
