It's a 14x7 stave shell, 1/2" thick shell ,single point lugs, trick 3 position strainer, the hardware is a mixture of black nickel plated and stealth charcoal powder coated, 30 strand wires, hand cut leather washers at all hardware attachment points, and a die cast badge.

The sound of this drum is absolutely mouth-watering. Every once in a while I build a drum and the first time I get to play it it genuinely surprises me. This was one of those snares. The drum is super sensitive and warm, and has just the right balance of attack and sustain to provide a clean, crisp note that has an excellent Woody musicality behind it.

Laying into this snare with a big hard BackBeat stroke is totally addictive, in bags to just turn out the groove song after song.

This could be a real work-horse snare, excellent for studio or live work.
