Luxman CL35: A fantastic Japanese "Golden Era" tube amplifier!
Description
The Luxman CL35 is a vintage high-fidelity all-tube amplifier produced in Japan in 1970, during the “Golden Era” of Japanese Hi-Fi audio equipment. Both the Luxman brand and the CL35 line of amplifiers are renowned for their exceptional performance, especially in the mid range. This model features no fewer than 7 tubes (5x 12AX7 + 2x 12AU7), and tone control that is both versatile and of exceptional quality. The CL35 features a 3-stage K-KNF type equalizer circuit, a configuration also used in the Marantz Model 7, though the CL35 offers a purportedly improved version. The CL35 features a certain quality of construction you can immediately notice, as is expected from Japanese audio equipment from this period.
