Back in the early 1960s, Vox released the AC10, an all-tube amplifier that delivered great tone at manageable volumes. The AC10C1 is an update of that amp, with a gain knob that can take you through a wide range of tones, and a master volume control that you can keep you quiet, even when you're running the gain hot and crunchy -- or you can crank it and play with your band at full tilt. The onboard EQ controls let you dial in your treble and bass to whatever suits your guitar and your mood, allowing you to contour the Top Boost sound however you like.
