this professional OTARI MX-5050BlI2 analog tape recorder is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.This deck has been completely analyzed, cleaned, lubricated and tested. The heads have been aligned and adjusted to optimal position. Heads are warm and tested on all frequencies.

All switches, pots and contacts treated with deoxit.  All functions, play, fast forward and rewind are strong and working. Transport feels very smooth. Recordings and playback are crystal clear. This deck is capable of 3.75, 7.5, 15 ips. This is a 1/2 track stereo tape deck. It records 1/2 track, and plays back for 1/2, and 1/4 track configuration, in 1/4" tape. All lights, buttons and controls work as they should. Front panel adjusting pots for Bias, Equalization, and Record Level for fine adjustment to your favorite brand/type of tape. This deck records and plays back with fantastic quality and definition. It's in fantastic shape and in perfect working condition, but as with all vintage electronics selling as-is. Sides are  made with a delicate wood finish and polished with beeswax; it is easy to maintain this natural look. Handles has been installed for easy relocation and to lay down for optimal cleaning. This deck weighs 70 lbs.  It comes with: Power cord, and original nab hubs. Reels are not included.
