The Villela V8VA Soprano guitar is tuned an octave above standard guitar pitch. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd strings (treble) are doubled. The 4th, 5th and 6th (bass) are single traditional silver plated wound strings.
Tone woods are used to make the V8VA. The body and neck are carved into shape from a single block of wood. The top is solid. The unique and traditional construction create a powerful tone, range and projection
