The H. N. White Model King Eb Alto Saxophone dates from approximately 1924 (Serial Number 689XX) and was the manufacturer's mainstay until the release of the Voll-True in 1929. This low-pitch alto features a silver plate finish with ornate bell engraving. Added features include a classic designed marching band lyre holder and enharmonic (currently corked) key. Our Inside Technician repadded and adjusted the instrument while maintaining the original luster of the Alto Saxophone. IMPORTANT NOTE: According to two technicians we contacted, the off-set nib with the Octave Key Tone Hole caused the Octave Mechanism to have a physical correction and be bent to work properly. Some authorities on this malady of the sax believe that a majority of the run of this model had this error of manufacturer. If corrected, as we have done, the horn works and sounds incredible. It comes with a Non-Original Hard-case and a Non-Original Stock Mouthpiece. For the collector or the avid player, this is a wonderful gem to cherish for another hundred years...or more...MP4522
