Here we have one of the cleanest Marshall Halfstacks I have ever seen.
The Head:
This is a very rare, original 1st Generation Marshall Major Plexi from 1968. It has the vertical “Marshall Major 200 watt” print on the back panel which is indicative of the very first run of these amps.
This is a United States Spec amp (no voltage selector).
It’s all there, mustard/radio spares tone caps, original transformers! It has very few replacements on the inside, such as the bridge rectifier, bias capacitors and the can capacitors! But has no modifications of any kind! This thing is loud and mean!
Just serviced: I just retubed it, 4x Genalex Gold Lion KT88’s!
The tolex on this head is amazingly clean it looks absolutely amazing. Very few blemishes Original logo on this one too, which are hard to find!
Is in absolutely amazing working condition.
Comes with original power cord.
The Cabinet:
Extremely clean, collectors condition 4x12! I believe it is from 1973, 1974. Has the original gold Homa casters, unscrewable corners, grill cloth, handles, skid trays, and even the flat head back panel screws!
Speakers are 4x G12H 30 Watt 55hz Blackback Speakers! Sounds absolutely insane with this head!
These just need a new home, I don’t have space for them anymore.
