Ibanez ATK 300 4-string bass Stingray 90's OG model Triple-Coil Humbucker Active EQ Maple fretboard

Ibanez's answer to the MusicMan Stingray bass, these debuted in 1994 and have been re-issued a few times in different configurations. Generally these had Ash bodies as natural, black or sunburst finishes. Ash was used both for its tonal properties and to reduce the weight as these are big-bodies basses. That results in some big-bodied tone as well!

I've owned several of these over the years and they're all been fun to play & great sounding. I'll probably regret selling this one but I've been playing mostly 5-string lately, so here's as opportunity for someone else to have the chance to own it. There's a 3-way mini-switch that Ibanez has a fancy name for, but it produces a very subtle effect on this bass in particular. The wiring looks fine as I was curious and checked it out. The active electronics work as expected. This bass is in great shape for being 25 years old.

The weight is approximate as I can't guarantee that scale is completely accurate. This instrument will be well-packed using my patent-applied-for 'Samurai Armor' method combining layers of padded & shock-absorbing materials with layers of more dense & rigid impact-resistant materials aimed at achieving maximum bomb-proof protection at a minimum shipping weight.

The action is setup medium low and adjusted to my own playing preferences. This may or may not be suitable to you. It is advisable to either budget for a pro setup & a new set of your preferred strings or to learn to perform setups yourself to ensure any instrument will be setup precisely to your individual specifications.
