About This Listing

Harmony Sovereign TG1201 1960s Natural All Original Parts - Original Case - Incredible Sound!

A true relic of masterful craftsmanship. Wonderful tone with beautiful resonating sound. One minor issue is the original pickguard seems to pull away from the body. It lays flat on the body mostly, raising only a hair with higher humidity. Minor dings through out guitar and obvious play wear noted in photos. Bolt on bridge is as flat as can be to body. Neck set is still straight. Fret board has shrunk over time. Visual cracks are sealed. This guitar has been  properly repaired. We want to keep this pristine guitar as is if can help it. Truly, an amazing tenor acoustic guitar.

1965 "Where there's music there's Harmony" catalog, page 21

"A quality tenor guitar, 4-string model built for tone and ease of response. The polished natural finished spruce top is selected for resonance. The back, frame, and neck are of carefully chosen Mohagany, highly polished. Sound hole, top, back and edges are celluloid bound and inlaid. Ebonized pin style bridge; shell celluloid pickguard."

  • Size: 13 1/8 x 34 in
  • Weight: 2lb 11oz
