Very rare Melos MA 333 Reference Gold (Music Director) Preamp.
Very good condition for it's age, with MAR upgrades.
Has original working remote & Pho-tentiometer with new fuse lamp.
Separate phonostage is not included so the phono input works as an ordinary line stage input.
The RCA pre-outs are actually balanced so they're separate +/- phases.
Fully balanced with set of new matched quad ARC Golden Dragon tubes (NOS Phillips Miniwatt & Amperex Orange sound best to me)
Was my main pre for many years only to be replaced by a Balanced Audio Tech pre. It needs someone else to enjoy it as much as I have. It's an extremely transparent pre with a lot of gain that should easily last another 40ish years.
I will include an external NHT fully balanced TVC for fine tuning the volume, the Melos has A LOT of gain.
