This is a solid mahogany Prestige model made in Japan where the best luthiers are employed and make the best Ibanez guitars. This particular model is getting to be rare. I have not seen another like it. Elegant, light weight, strings through the body for great sustain. The electronics (controls) are higher quality than Fender or Gibson, yes I have both. Very ultra sensitive response. And perfect location for volume/ tone controls with the five way switch right at fingers touch. The volume presents a perfect subtle control such as I wish were on Fender and Gibson's...but alas not so. This is a flat fret board, great for fast shredding and articulation.
