1991 Fender Japan STM-600 Medium Scale Stratocaster (Black)

Made by the Fujigen factory in Japan back in 1991, this was a STM-600 model from the Pro Feel series. These models were designed to compete with the rise of Charvel and Jackson and featured some modern design features including a contoured neck heel and floating Pro Rox tremolo system. 22 frets and a 24" scale length give it a nice tension while still being capable of the classic Stratocaster pop.
This particular guitar is finished in a factory black with a maple neck and poplar body. Seems all original what what look like the original Hotrod/Dragster HSS pickups and 5-way toggle. Good overall condition with a notable scrape as pictured, seems to have had frequent services as the neck and frets are in good condition and play great. Weighs 3.3kg's.
Possibly owned by Dr Seigel (Shigeru Narumo) of Flied Egg (printed on the back of the headstock, he also played these models a lot on tour) but unconfirmed as there's no provenance.
