2007 Fender AJB Aerodyne Jazz Bass - Black - Made In Japan
Serial: # T061103
Nut Width: 1.500"
Neck Thickness: 0.808" 1st - 0.968" 12th
The Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass is a performers delight, it's sleek, lightweight design making it a high-performance workhorse that can deliver all of the traditional JB tones and then some. This instrument was produced in 2007 at the Tokai production facility and bears all the earmarks of the company's high standard of quality. The instrument is in very good condition with some dings and a chip or two, some very small handling marks, and a light patina on the hardware. This piece is a beauty and it's playability is top notch, with easy, smooth action and killer, dialed tone. We ran it through our Bassman and were impressed with the thick punch and clear articulation. The instrument has amazing presence and tight, focused bottom end that you can feel and will keep you coming back for more. If you have been looking for a perfect electric bass that offers traditional tone and playability with a sleek and modern feel, this ebony thumper will satisfy your sweet tooth, only at The Guitar Dude.
Leo Fender first introduced what became known as the Jazz Bass in 1960 as the "Deluxe Model", it borrowed design elements from the Jazzmaster guitar. It was renamed the Jazz Bass as Fender felt that its redesigned neck, narrower and more rounded than that of the Precision Bass, would appeal more to jazz musicians. What we now know is what countless rock legends figured out early on- the Jazz Bass is a serious rock and roll animal that's ready to change it's spots at a moments notice and is capable of rock, jazz, blues and so much more!
It has just been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal playability and tone. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been dressed/polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It was professionally set up and has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.
* Neck is perfectly straight and the truss rod works with no issues
* Intonation is spot-on
* It has been professionally set up with nice low action & new American made strings.
* If needed, the frets will be dressed leveled & crowned
* All frets are polished prior to shipping when they are set up - They will shine like new!
