This is not an actual Cripe guitar , I was a friend of Stephen Cripe and after he built Jerry's guitar I asked him to build me one and he made it from the same pieces of wood , a 100 plus year old opium chair. After Stephen passed away in an unfortunate accident one of his associates inherited the shop including the dyes cutouts tools and the same opium chair wood. So I brought my Cripe to him and he made an exact copy along with a few minor improvements like paizo Electronics for acoustic , it is 100% identical made from the same opium chair as my original  guitar and as Jerry's original Bolt. The guitars are completely identical. I no longer have the original as it was sold for six figures..
