About This Listing

This is probably the nicest 300 PS I've seen. 300 watts, 660 watts peak. Unusually good condition for a 40+ year old amp, in my opinion. The grill cloth trim surround is entire with a few hair-line fractures. The grill cloth has one very small abrasion, but no tears.  There are a few inconspicuous nicks in the tolex, but it is tight all around and is in very good condition. I love the sound of the bass channel; maybe my favorite tube amp (and I've had more than a few). I'm not a big fan of the guitar channel nor of the distortion; they both work fine, as far as I can tell, I just don't use them for my basses. I've had the amp serviced several times by one of the four Mesa Boogie-recommended amp techs in Northern Cali (Shane Manning, Tube Sonic). I'm selling the amp because it's big, heavy (76 lbs), and I'm no longer willing to haul it around. Local pickup is optional and recommended.

Packing, insurance, and shipping are not included in the purchase price. UPS said the packing and insurance cost will be around $100. Shipping costs depend on your zip code; I live in 95667. UPS said the packed amp dimensions would be 2'4" x 1'7" x 1'6". Packed weight should be around 80 LB. I've surrounded the tubes with flexible foam and bubble wrap.
