Gilmourish restored Binson Echorec 2 T7E 1964

1964 Binson Echorec 2 , serial number is 4218 , it has been entirely restored and serviced from A to Z,  every component has been tested and replaced when needed, including tubes (vintage tested tubes , brand new EM81 magic eye). You can see the parts that have been removed and replaced on the pictures. The heads have been tested, calibrated , the drum is ok, the jockey wheel is ok, A modern electric socket has been added , the power system has been fully rewired, the Binson produces now a very very low hum (it can hardly be heard with a guitar plugged in). The inner power-transformer (from 220v to 110v) works perfectly you don't need any outer transformer to make this work. One of the three channels has been plugged with jacks for more convenience, the two other channels are plugged with Geloso as original.

The sound is really great, very magic vintage compression and mutlihead echo sound, just like the sound you like if you are a fan of the David Gilmour tones...This is the 4th Binson that i sell from my collection (see my former sales on reverb) , not the most beautiful but i really sounds great after all these hours of working to restore it.

Please notice that this Binson is not complete : the rear metal pannel is missing , the upper metal hood is missing, the plexi cap on the memory system is present but in a bad condition.  SO please consider that it is a very cool player Binson, not really a high collection one : if you wish to do it as a perfect one, you will have to find the hoods an the rear pannel ( approximately 250 USD for the pack). No woodbox.
