Made in Chicago, IL, USA. I’m selling this 1970 Harmony Rocket for a friend. It’s been a “closet” guitar for the last 10 years, however, it has definitely been played. This one is in good condition for its age.
The infamous “DeArmond Goldfoil” sound. These pickups are super hot output, and great for driving a tube amp. The bridge pickup has a driving snap to it, the neck pickup is full without being too bassy. Undoubtedly my favorite pickups in the whole wide world. It's no surprise that they have given these guitars lasting fame.
The original tuners are in good shape, One of the tuner rings is missing. The frets are in good shape, there is wear around the cowboy chords. The saddle is a little worn down but functions fine. The guitar plays great, has low action, and is intonated nicely. See below for the specifics.
