Please note that this backplate comes with six oval holes for the strings to go through. This was the first backplate style, it originally came in only thin material with no bevel. Due to many requests during our 30+ years in the business, we now supply it in all of our available materials to match your Fender® Stratocaster®. This backplate will only fit genuine Fender® Stratocaster®. It will not fit Squier®. Also available with mounting holes only and no string through holes. While many manufacturers may make a similar model instrument, this does not mean each pickguard of this type is interchangeable. If the design of your pickguard varies (country of origin, manufactured date, non-Fender® manufactured) from that pictured, you may return the item as long as it is returned in the same condition as received.
