About This Listing

This is a great example of a Thomas Organ Vox solid state Cambridge Reverb. The serial number begins with “10” making the manufacture year 1967.

This amp was completely serviced and recapped in January 2022 by Filament Amp Repair in Denver, CO and given a clean bill of health. I can provide receipt of service upon request.

Someone had replaced the original “Bulldog” speaker before I bought the amp with a very poor quality speaker so I went ahead and put a 10” 8ohm Celestion Creamback when I had the amp serviced. This thing sounds amazing.

All controls, reverb and tremolo work.

One thing to note: the “auxiliary speaker” output jack on the amp is in parallel with the internal speaker.

This also comes with the rare original footswitch. Please note that the “mid resonance boost” switch is broken off but the switch still works. You just have to use a pencil or the like to depress it. Also, the DIN connector on the footswitch is wrapped with gaff tape to prevent the cracked plastic underneath for breaking further. The footswitch is the only thing I didn’t get around to restoring.
