Fender American Highway One Stratocaster Cory Wong Vulfpeck 2002 Sapphire Blue Transparent

This is not a Cory Wong Signature Stratocaster - it’s the model that Cory Wong actually plays and that was the model for his signature guitar: a 2002 American-made Highway One Strat in Sapphire Blue Transparent. The pickguard was changed out for a white pearloid guard. Pickups have been upgraded to hand wound K-line signature pickups ($250 value). Light at 7 lbs. 8 oz. The guitar has been refretted with medium jumbo frets by Tritone Guitars in St. Louis, MO and is set up and ready to play. Comes in a classic red-label Fender chainsaw case. Tremolo bar included.

This guitar sounds great and feels great. It’s a bit lighter than most American Strats and has a comfortable modern C neck. The paint is designed to wear quickly for a naturally reliced look. Had minor nicks from use. Comes with tremolo bar.
