The rare bird of the Steinberger world. The very first 6-string guitars that Ned Steinberger designed were the GL2 hardtail models. This is one of the earliest production model GL2 guitars manufactured in the Newburgh, NY Steinberger Sound factory. With no tremolo system, these guitars have "sustain for days", and are highly coveted by collectors. This one appears to be all original down to its handling wear. It is in great shape for its age. The frets are in great shape and it plays like butter. I have not cleaned it in any way and it will come with all its original patina. I didn't get it with a case and the hard to find leg rest. Ready to rock. Will be fully insured and overpacked for shipping.
