Beautiful 1924 Handcrafted Viola by Jacob Lundh in Excellent condition (Appraised at $6,500) & Amazing Mint condition Pernambuco Bow made by A. Carlesso in Brazil (Appraised at $1,500). It will also come with a Excellent condition Bobelock Hard Case.

Viola Details

• The viola was made by Jacob Lundh, and bears his original label dated 1924.
• The two- piece back was made of maple, cut on the quarter, with narrow curl descending from the center seam.
• The sides, neck, and scroll match the back.
• The top is spruce of narrow grain in the center, broadening to wide grain in the flanks.
• The varnish is reddish orange.
• The viola is in excellent condition.
• The length of the body is 40.8 cm.
• The width of the upper bout is 18.5 cm.
• The width of the middle bout is 12.3 cm.
• The width of the lower bout is 23.15 cm.

Bow Details

• The bow was made in Brazil, and bears a stamp, which reads "A. Carlesso"
• The shaft is made of Pernambuco of a chestnut color, carved round.
• The rounded frog is ebony, with a rounded silver ferrule, no eyes, a shell slide, and one-piece silver back plate.
• The adjuster is ebony with a silver ring and a silver cap.
• The bow is in new, mint condition.
• The total length of the bow is 74.2 cm.
• The total weight of the bow is 70 grams.
