Very Rare Black one Black Fender Contemporary Stratocaster F logo Cap knobs with Rubber Grips. These were only made for the Fender Contemporary Stratocasters of the mid 1980's.
So what's the story about these knobs:
VERY RARE! Most Contemporary models that came with these knobs no longer have them because they are 3 parts to them.. First the rare F Logo, which no other Fender knob has. is a separate round snap in tab that most loose. When this happens they change the knob and throw away or loose the rest of it.. The other piece is kinda cool too, its a separate rubber band that acts as a grip.. It's unique.. vintage, rare and authentic made only between 1984-87 as the Fender company under the new CEO Bill Shultz who saved the Fender legacy went to Japan to out source US jobs by giving Fujigen Gakki license to assemble Fender instruments at a much cheaper labor then the Fender American Corona employees.. Huge history.. The Explorer Strat had the same knobs in white and I'm constantly getting emails for these at my site, stratconnection.com email as they were few made during that period and the guitar, like the Fender System One Tremolo has a cult following..Sale is for Two Knobs and are Vintage, Rare, and non returnable or refundable as the caps can be removed as well as the rubber grips..
