The Embie-Matic is a high quality Melita style guitar bridge machined from high-strength aluminum. The flat pan-head screws locking the saddle clips in place allow palm space and a low profile. The materials are light weight, with precise tolerances, making it very resonant under string tension. Each Embie-Matic has it's own serial number, and is made and assembled with care and attention to detail. Proudly made in St Louis, MO.
This is the "Stovebolt" Embie-Matic adjustable guitar bridge top. The Stovebolt is a new Embie Concepts design featuring roundtop stainless steel saddles and a redesigned stainless steel saddle clip. This round-top saddle design offers minimal string-to-saddle contact, ideal for Bigsby systems.
The bridge body is clear anodized aluminum. The saddles are center notched for gauged string slotting files, and we will slot them per request. The post spacing is
3 3/8" / 85.725mm, and it will drop right on to any existing Melita archtop bridge base.
The outside string spacing is
2 1/16" / 52.38mm.
Our saddles are center notched for gauged string slotting files, and will need to be slotted upon installation and set-up. We are always happy to pre-slot your saddles, just send your preferred string gauges!

Our standard Embie-Matic bridge body is a 12" radius. We also machine 7.25", 9", 9.45" and 12.5" radius options upon request.
The Stovebolt saddles and clips are only available in Stainless Steel.
