Gibson Thunderbird 2013 Ebony

Up for grabs is a 2013 Gibson Thunderbird. The pickups are swapped with 2021 Gibson Non-Reverse pickups (PN: 116962 & 116963) The tone is very bright and doesn’t break up like a typical thunderbird. It’s also sporting a Malory capacitor as well. The bass has been completely chromed out for a more vintage appearance. A “Mod-Bar” has been incorporated with the 3-point to relieve it of classic 3-point intonation problems.

If you’re looking for a high performance Gibson Vintage Pro. This is the set up for you. The 2013 neck has a near identical profile to that of a Fender Jazz bass. It’s an extremely smooth and articulate instrument.

Also included is all the original black hardware and pickups with an extra black pickguard, so if you feel inclined to do so, you can do the complete opposite and build up a “Blackbird”.
