Recently (this year) restored by a professional technician. All keys have been tuned and original/authentic pads have been re-installed. During the restoration process, only authentic parts have been utilized.
With this very rare horn, you can see from a distance that it's an original lacquer, not artificially varnished/relacquered.
It has a few marks and blemishes, however, the abovementioned expert urged to maintain them to preserve the instrument’s character. As for its sound, a focused, deep, beautiful tone that gives pleasure to the soul is naturally expected!
This saxophone is the benchmark for every sax that’s ever come since it’s simply the best and there’s not much more to say about it. Either way, what else can be said about this legend of an instrument!
