Boss GE-7 Equalizer with Fromel Mod

Over the past 15 years, I have built from scratch dozens of pedals using everything from full kits, to perf board and point-to-point wiring. I’ve also modified an equal number of pedals, such as this one. Pedal is in perfect working condition and good cosmetic condition. See noticeable dent in left side of slider and a few nicks and scratches in paint. Slider toppers have been replaced as they were missing when I bought the pedal a while back. If you getting tired of the noise, hiss and general tone suck of your
Boss GE-7 then this kit is for you.

Gone are the ice-pick highs and noise that burden the stock pedal. Other mods change the corner frequencies so you'll never have a flat response for a clean boost, not with this kit. The problem with the stock GE-7 as with most boss pedals is the use of cheap components and components that are not designed for audio.

This kit replaces all the tantalum caps with audio grade capacitors
and high quality coupling caps. Finally the stock op amps are replaced with high quality audio grade op-amps (NE5532).

As with all our kits, full color instructions are included.

This kit has instructions for both the original ACA powered GE-7 and the newer version powered with a PSA power supply. For those with the older version, instructions are included to convert the pedal to accept the modern PSA boss power supply.
