The RB-250 is pretty much the staple for bluegrass banjo players and the 'bowtie' era holds an extra special place. This era features mahogany neck an resonator, a 1/2" rim with flat head tone ring, and the iconic 'bowtie' inlay on an ebony fingerboard. This banjo is in excellent condition for it's age and has a replaced tailpiece and bridge (with the originals in the case). The case is the original Lifton 60s case with Lifton logo and original string tags. One of the finest examples of a 60s RB-250 we have seen.
