Kramer XL-8 Walnut Aluminum Neck 8 String Bass

This bass plays and sounds great. Minimal wear with some dings and lacquer chips that are documented in photos. Walnut body and neck inserts. 30.5” scale length.

Upgraded to Schaller S471c 8 string bridge. Individual saddles for root and octave strings, for proper intonation. Pickups upgraded to Avedissian Overkill humbuckers (Rickenbacker/ Lemmy inspired high output pickups) with coil split switches (neck splits to north coil, bridge splits to south coil; creating ultra clean , almost acoustic tone when combined!).

Includes original Badass bridge and Dimarzio humbuckers (one hum has broken foot, which is included and could be repaired. Pickup itself functions).

Bass plays great in all positions… low action with no buzz. Recently set up with level and polish, using D’addario strings, tuned EADG. Case has one broken latch and wear and tear expected for a late 70s case.

*** upon further inspection, the root E tuning machine (button end) is slightly bent. I have never noticed this before, as it did not affect tuning/ stability. The bend is slight.
