Replica of a Gibson Roy Smeck Radio Grande
by Blazer and Henkes. The year of
construction is 2006.The top is made
of alpine spruce, sides and back
made of indian rosewood, neck made
of mahogany. Brasilian rosewood
fingerboard and bridge, typical
Radio Grande inlays in the fretboard.
Hide glue construction and nitro lacquer.
Hawaiian setup with flush in frets.
The guitar is very light. It responds
very quickly and has the typical
Smeck sound. I'm the first owner.
I've played the instrument regularly,
it hasn"t left the home, is in excellent
condition. Only 3 of these
instruments were built, this is
number 3. It would also be possible
to convert the guitar to
spanish-style, as was done with
most of the old Roy Smecks.
More pictures, sound clips
or testing possible by arrangement.
Comes with the original TKL tweed HSC.
