Hand made by master luthier Victor Baker. A chambered body featuring a hand-carved "bear claw" spruce top and hand-carved mahogany back and sides (16" lower bout; 2" rim; 25" scale length; 1 11/16" nut width). The fret board, tailpiece, pickguard, volume and tone knobs, and truss rod cover are all made of solid ebony. One noticeable ding in the top (pictured) and minimal other small scuffs and dings. There is some "crazing" in the nitro-cellulose finish. They are difficult to photograph and need to be viewed a just the right angle to see. I have significantly discounted the price to reflect any finish flaws. Overall the guitar is beautiful and in very good condition. This guitar plays like a dream and the humbucking pickup sounds warm and sweet. Original Grover tuners. This is the 3rd Victor Baker guitar that I have owned over the years and they are outstanding instruments. An excellent linen-like covered Gator hard shell case included.
Please add $165, flat fee, to pack, ship and insure to Continental USA. If more, I will py the balance. Neither UPS nor FedEx will ship to a P.O.Box, so make sure that Reverb has a street address for delivery. Local pickup in Denver, CO is fine.
