12-STRING STUNNER

We recently were lucky enough to take in a small collection of extremely nice, rare Taylor guitars from a collection curated by a player with excellent taste.  A few of us were salivating over these, and tempted to buy them for ourselves.  But, we're in the business of selling and getting guitars into the hands of others.  So here's your opportunity....before one of us changes our mind!

We love 12-string guitars here, especially ones as nice as this Taylor 355-CE-L7 .  It's a very nice 12-string in a jumbo style body, featuring a Sitka spruce top, and Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides.  The guitar has a loud and punchy sound, fully capable of handling any 12-string situation, with enough projection to cut through, while still remaining balanced.  It has a very comfortable mahogany neck with a rosewood headstock overlay, and ebony fretboard and bridge.  This was a limited edition run from 2004, and are very hard to find, as not many were made.  Interestingly, this run was the first time that Taylor used Tasmanian Blackwood.  This beautiful wood shares characteristics with it's Hawaiian cousin, Koa, in that its variegated colors runs from a deep tawny to a light golden brown, accentuated by rich dark grain patterns.  Also like Koa, Tasmanian Blackwood has a warm, mellow tone highlighted by complex overtones.     The Taylor 12-string guitars are known for being easy to play, and this is reflected in this deep and lush sounding guitar. This one in particular is especially nice.  The guitar has a satin finish, mother of pearl fretboard markers and a black/white/black fiber purfling on the body binding and in the soundhole rosette.  With the Taylor Expression System, you can also plug in and play with one of the most reliable and well known pickup systems made by Taylor.   The guitar is in excellent, almost pristine condition, and comes with the original hardshell case.  Not a lot of these were made, and it's hard to find a 12-string as nice as this one, so if you're in the market for one like this, you've scored here!
