The closest you'll ever get to brand new out of the box. I'd call it a NOS.
DISCLOSURE: There is an intermittent “squeal” with the REW/FF function. Other than that, the machine functions as it should.
UPDATE: A technician has determined that the squeal is due to old tapes. There is no squeal on playback, it's perfect.
