About This Listing

For sale is John Hiatt's Washburn Timber Ridge D1712CE 12-string acoustic that was featured in advertisements during his partnership with Washburn. I do not know 100% the age of the guitar, but my research points me to 1994.  Please do your own research to confirm if that is important to you.

As you can see from the pics, the flame is absolutely insane. It's mind-boggling!  I don't know that I've seen too many guitars with a much more stunning top, sides, back and neck.  Per my research I also believe it to be all wood.  Again, do your own.

There is binding absolutely EVERYWHERE! And a beautiful rosette'ish run right down the center of the back that ducks into the jack side area. It's got great inlays on the fretboard and in general is just a flat out stunning looking instrument.

There are incredible Grover tuners.  Even the most expensive 12-strings are a pain to keep in tune.  I've had zero trouble with this one.  I played it for 30 minutes today with a tuner on the entire time and barely had any string go out. It's got an XLR and a 1/4 inch output. How often do you see that?

The guitar plays and sounds spectacular and comes with a hardshell case as well as a certificate of authenticity.

This is a previously owned and played by and a celebrity owned instrument.

Serial #: 9402029

Please ask a lot of questions as all sales are final and there are no refunds unless something I've said in the description is substantially inaccurate which it is not. And if it is there is a 40% restocking fee to dissuade the after sale negotiators.
