This pickup sounds very WOODY and WARM but is not exactly my thing - I'm more of a higher output, pointy head stock too much preamp gain kind of guy.
This is a "T TOP" and is stamped T and 2 H on the black screw coil, the zebra slug coil has no markings.
Pickup was never opened or molested though the lead was extended at some point, probably in the 80's.
This might be what they call a "Tim Shaw" ? but I will leave that up to the Gibson experts - I know very, very little about Gibson stuff in fact I do not own any Gibson guitars.
