The Washburn C5CE-A Classical Series nylon string is a concert sized instrument featuring a Spruce top with Catalpa back and sides. Spruce is the preferred tonewood for guitar tops by most luthiers and pairs well with resonant and lively Catalpa wood back and sides. The mahogany neck has a wide 52mm nut width, as is preferred by classical players, and a Blackwood fingerboard and bridge. The C5CE-A is a stage/performance friendly instrument with it's cutaway body shape. It is equipped with Washburn EVT electronics featuring an onboard tuner.
