Vintage 1980's Class Axe/ Ed Roman era B.C. Rich Mockingbird USA made with OHSC and 2 sets of OEM pickups

Maple neck and center, has rosewood stripes on each side of the center, koa wings, rosewood fretboard with original frets (light fret wear, but frets could use polishing), Schaller 455 bridge, Sperzel tuners, I had Ed Roman's shop in Vegas make the rear cover for me

These guitars were just unfinished bodies during the Rich bankruptcy of the late 80's.  Ed Roman purchased the remainder of these and used his own parts to finish these.  I have 2 sets of original to the guitar pickups, 1 set of 2 wire pickups and 1 set of 4 wires.  The 4 wire bridge pickup is too weak so I replaced it with the 2 wire.  The electronics have been replaced but I have the parts that came with it when I purchased it.  This guitar did not have a toggle switch to begin with, the roto-switch is included but I don't know if it works.  The case is the original heavy wood frame B.C. Rich molded TKL case.  Shipping weight will be well over 30lbs due to combined heaviness of guitar and case.
There is no guitar that I have owned that sounds quite like this one.  Sustain is unbelievable and thanks to the maple the mid-range is really clear and bright.  Neck is super straight and action is low (I can provide any measurements to serious buyers), many people associate these with heavy metal but this is a perfect guitar for southern rock, modern blues, funk/soul, etc.  Everyone who has heard or played this one absolutely loves it!  I'm actually only the second owner, the shop I bought it from was consigning it for the original owner.
Condition is Good/Used:
It plays well and holds tune great, but there are no shortage of dings and scratches in various places (please look at pictures) including on the lower side of the fretboard.  It's a solid vintage player, but these have incredible long term value due to the large number of B.C. Rich fanatics out there.  There is a place on the back of headstock that looks like someone colored it with a perm. marker.  There is a deep ding in the lower wing.  There are finish scratches and finish cracks that are barely visible in my pictures.  This is a 35+ year old guitar that has been played, not a case queen.  The volume pot sits a little loose compared to the tone.  I love this guitar but I hardly get to play anymore due to work schedule and my side business.   I will refund shipping if it turns out to be less, and if it's more I will pay the difference.  USA shipping only.
