Fender American Select Telecaster Thinline with Gold Hardware 2013 Violin Burst

For sale is a 2013 Fender Select Telecaster Thinline with Gold Hardware in Violin Burst finish. This limited-run guitar was crafted in Fender’s Corona, CA, facility in 2013 only. The guitar is in very close to mint condition, but has been very lightly used and lovingly cared for during my ownership. The guitar has been stored in its case and has been kept in a smoke-free, climate-controlled home. The guitar has never been gigged with and has only been occasionally used in my home studio. Guitar does not have any dings, chips, or scratches and minimal, if any, playwear. Gold hardware has not faded or tarnished. Pearloid tuners look very classy and hold tuning very well. Flame maple top with Violin Burst finish has beautiful figuring, as does the birds-eye maple neck. ‘Fender Select’ medallion is inlaid into the back of the headstock, and the tweed G&G case has special ‘Fender Select’ badging. Includes all documentation and case candy that it came with (see photos). Weighs only 6.1 pounds.  An absolutely beautiful guitar which I hate to part with, but deserves to be played and seen more than I am able. Thanks for taking a look!

The Fender Select Telecaster Thinline presents a finely crafted take on the popular semi-hollow version of Fender's very first guitar model. Stylish and light, it has a semi-hollow ash body with a beautiful flame maple top and hand-stained Violin Burst finish with gloss lacquer topcoat. Its modern "C"-shaped birdseye maple neck has a satin lacquer finish and Bi-FlexTM truss rod system. The compound radius birdseye maple fingerboard (9.5"-14") has 22 medium jumbo frets and a gloss lacquer finish.

Other premium features include Fender Select Telecaster single-coil neck and bridge pickups with three-way switching, heavy-knurled chrome or gold control knobs, four-ply aged white pearloid pickguard, American Standard Telecaster bridge with bent steel saddles and stamped brass plate, deluxe cast/sealed tuners with white pearloid buttons, nickel/ chrome or gold hardware and Fender Select headstock medallion.
