Up for sale is my NR thunderbird bass. I bought this back in 2019 and besides one “streaming”show…. it has never left my house.
The garbage Gibson pick ups and bridge have both been replaced. The pick ups are lollar T birds and the bridge is a hipshot super tone. The strings on the bass are DR sunbeams 45-105. And they are practically brand new.
A Dunlop strap lock has been professionally installed on the back of the neck in order to counter neck dive. Why Gibson still doesn’t do this is beyond me. Both of the original strap buttons as well as case candy are included.
If I were to find any flaw on the bass it would be a small mark on the 6th fret. It was there when I got the bass and it doesn’t effect the playability. And unless you really look, you won’t notice it.
I’m only selling this because I have been on a gear bender and something has to go. And because this never gets played, it’s on the chopping block.
