For sale is my 2014 Guillermo Porras Salazar. This is the 66th instrument by this talented luthier from Costa Rica.

This guitar is similar to a classic Rafael Granados, both in looks and sound. Trebles are rich and warm, even on those days when your nails are less than ideal. Basses are big and solid but don't overpower the top end. Plenty of volume, even in the high registers of the instrument. The color palette is good for a lattice braced guitar, but it definitely has one main personality.

This guitar was refinished and tuned up in Feb-March 2022 by Aaron Ringo of Woodring guitars. He redid the top and sides, and made a few touchups elsewhere. The top and sides are flawless. Back is flawless save for a few small scratches. The neck has a some scratches as well. The underside and top of the headstock have some dings. Aaron also perfected the intonation. Other than the above, this instrument has had no modifications or repairs.
