What do Neil Murray, David Ellefson, and Lemmy all have in common? Their fondness of the legendary B. C. Rich Mockingbird Bass. With almost forty years in production, Mockingbird is still one of the coolest looking and best sounding basses out there and this NJ Series Mockingbird is the perfect shred machine to add to your musical arsenal. The Mockingbird model was designed by Johnny "Go-Go" Kessel. It was made popular by Joe Perry of Aerosmith. The Mockingbird experienced a resurgence in the early 1990s through Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Slash after he played one on the Use Your Illusion world tour.
These classic BCR bass guitars from the late '80s to early '90's are solid, well-crafted beasts. In September 2010, Guitar World ranked the Mockingbird as "the coolest guitar of all time". This is a BC Rich Mockingbird from 1986 that was made exclusively for the Japanese, Asian & select European markets and is an absolute monster of a bass! Maple body, maple neck with a 24 medium, jumbo sized frets and an ebanol fingerboard.
This is bass that can be played without worry and has been professionally set up so she is ready to go... All she needs now is the perfect player to take her home!
Condition: This is a players bass...Rock out worry free over adding a ding or dent because you will only be adding to the vintage relic appeal of this Mockingbird Bass.
