This was a super rare find as this is an original Model 1853 which caused some trouble for Octave because ARP thought they took some intellectual properties.

It sounds aggressive and stunning.

- Full check up

Action performed:
- Disassembled and performed general cleaning
- Replaced all electrolytic capacitors and trimmer pots
- Performed cleaning and maintenance on the keybed
- Completely cleaned buss rails and J-wires
- Replaced all CMOS ICs
- Replaced loose and questionable IC sockets
- Tested and confirmed proper operation of VCO1
- Noted that the gating circuit B not working to specifications
- Traced issue to intermittent op-amp
- Replaced IC socket and reflowed suspect joints
- Tested and confirmed proper operation
- Cleaned all knobs and switch caps
- Cleaned chassis
- Reassembled and tested
- Confirmed all features working as specified.
- Performed final adjustments to spec
- Recorded final play test
